The incident of Fana and Baqa of the saint and his student Baba Shamsuddin Turk Rahmatullah Alaih is common among his disciples which claims that, one day Baba Shamsuddin ask about Fana and Baqa to him to which he replied that "this is not the correct time to explain you, I will explain you this concept later. Days passed and after serving 19 years to the saint, Hazrat Shamsuddin left him in search of a job to earn a living as per his order . while he was living the Shaykh, shaykh asked him to come again on the day of his Wisal along with a Kafan (Shroud). After receiving this instruction from his Shaykh Baba Shamsuddin replied "how will I know about your Wisal", to which Shaykh give him certain sign and indications of his death. So the day when Baba Shamsuddin observes those signs and indications, he immediately went to his Murshid and he saw his Murshid had already met with Allah (Wisal), Ø¥ِÙ†َّا Ù„ِÙ„َّÙ‡ِ ÙˆَØ¥ِÙ†َّا Ø¥ِÙ„َÙŠْÙ‡ِ رَاجِعُونَ. so during performing the last rites of the saint, he observed a strange man ( horse rider) whose face was covered by scarf moving towards him, that stranger came forward and performed the namaz-e-janaza (funeral prayer). after the prayer when the stranger tried to leave, Baba Shamsuddin Turk enquired his name. then he removed his face scarf, after seeing the face of the stranger he got shocked, what he observes that the stranger was none other than Sabir Piya, to which stranger (Sabir Piya) replied, “that the body which is resting there is Fana and myself who performed the funeral prayer is Baqa, didn't I promised you that, I will explain you the concept of Fana and Baqa later.

Shaykh’s tajheez o takfeen (burial and shrouding) was performed by Shams Turq Panipati. After reciting Quran e Majeed consecutively for three days on the Mazar Mubarak, he left for Panipat as per Shaykh’s order.

Distribution of Langar and "Sabir"

The incident of distribution of Langar has been mentioned by most of the experts, which says, as Sabir Piya and his mother came to Baba Farid, his mother accompanied him there for 2 years, while taking leave from his son, she educates Baba Farid about Sabir Piya that, “my son Sabir never demand for anything, even for necessities such as food, so brother, you have take care of my son’s needs” to which Baba Farid agreed and make sabir Piya the in-charge of Langar Khana to distribute foods to the students and others so that there will be no question of demanding food as he has now become the in-charge of kitchen. But because of his taqwa, Saint focused on his duty as an in-charge of the kitchen to distribute the foods instead of even having the single morsel of food from the kitchen for 12 years. Various experts have commented, he was surviving on herbs and fruits from the forest on those days. When his mother came back after almost a decade to meet her son, she observed her son has become very weak, after seeing this condition of her son, she went to his brother Baba Fareed to enquired the cause of such a pathetic condition of her son, she enquired, didn’t you took care of my son’s diet, to which Baba said, “The entire administration of kitchen was in your son’s hand”. to which Sabir said, “yes although I was the administrator of your kitchen but you didn’t tell me to have food from there, so I had never taken food from that kitchen, instead of it when I felt hunger, I used to consume certain fruits and herbs from forest”. After hearing this, Baba Farid give him the title “Sabir or the man of patience”.
