Mannani Miya

Hazrat Mannan Raza Khan, also known as Mannani Miya, is a Sunni, Muslim scholar and preacher from Bareilly Sharif. He became the senior-most personality of Aala Hazrat, Imam Ahmed Raza Khan (R.A)'s family after the wisal of his elder brother and the former grand mufti of India, Akhtar Raza Khan Qadri.

He was born in 1950 in Badaun, India, and received his first education from his father and later completed his formal Islamic studies in 1977 from Manzar-e-Islam, Bareilly Sharif. His Bismillah Khwani and Dastar-bandi were performed by Huzoor Mufti e Azam Hind, Mufti Mustafa Raza Khan Qadri (R.A). He founded Jamiya Razvia Nooria, an Islamic seminary in Bareilly in 1982.

Mannani Miya is the heir of Aala Hazrat from both paternal and maternal side (Najib-ut-tarfain). His father, Hazrat Ibrahim Raza Khan (Jilani Miyan) was the son of Hamid Raza Khan (son of Imam Ahmed Raza Khan Qadri Barelvi) and his mother, Sarkar Begum was the daughter of Mustafa Raza Khan Qadri (another son of Imam Ahmed Raza Khan Qadri, Barelvi. He is known for his truthful and straightforward attitude, especially in religious matter. He was in the media in 1995 when he stopped P. V Narasimha Rao from entering Dargah e Aala Hazrat at Bareilly Sharif, as Rao had taken part in demolition of Babri Masjid. And in 2021, when he challenged the self-claimed "Qazi-ul-Quzat"(chief Qazi of the Country), Asjad Raza Khan to leave the post of Qazi-ul-Quzat. He said, "Asjad is not suitable for the post of Qazi-ul-Quzat, as he did not receive any formal Islamic education from any Islamic seminary or Madrasa."

He is the Khalifa of Huzoor Mufti e Azam e Hind, Hazrat Mustafa Raza Khan Qadri and also received Khilafat-o-Ijazah from Madni Miya.

He has several Khulafa across the world, including Shakir Ali Noori and Sayyed Aminul Qadri.
